Clam Chair by Arnold Madsen

The Clam Chair was first designed in 1944 in Copenhagen by Danish upholsterer Arnold Madsen. In 1945, Arnold Madsen & Henry Schubell founded the furniture company Madsen & Schubell to produce this unique chair, which became known as the Clam Chair due to its unique shape.
