Tue Poulsen (1939-) is a Danish ceramicist, visual artist, and designer with a diverse range of works. He was born on an unknown date in Hillerød, Denmark, to Jørgen Poulsen and Mette Friis and is the grandson of Andreas Friis. Poulsen received his education at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen from 1959 to 1962.

Since his debut in 1963, Poulsen has held numerous separate exhibitions of his works. His portfolio includes a wide range of ceramics, ranging from large, heavy stoneware sculptures to delicate, almost transparent cast porcelain pieces. He often incorporates other materials, such as iron, steel, wood, and acrylic, into his works. In addition to his ceramics, Poulsen has also shown an interest in design, creating whole sets as well as vases with unique glazes.

Poulsen's works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally. He has participated in exhibitions in countries such as Germany, Italy, France, and the United States. His works can also be found in several museums and public collections, including the National Museum of Decorative Arts in Copenhagen and the Musée national de Céramique in Sèvres, France.

Poulsen's wide range of works has made him one of Denmark's most well-known and respected ceramic artists. He has won several awards for his work, including the Danish Arts Foundation's lifelong artist grant in 1993 and the prestigious Thorvald Bindesbøll Medal in 2002.
